Antisore™ Bedridden Care

Brief Explanation

The Antisore™ Bedridden Caregiving Plan is a specialized care approach designed to prevent and manage pressure sores (bedsores) in bedridden patients. It combines clinical techniques, caregiver protocols, and supportive tools to ensure skin integrity, comfort, and dignity for long-term immobile individuals.

Key Components:

  • Regular Repositioning: Timed turning schedules (every 2–4 hours) to relieve pressure on vulnerable areas.
  • Skin Monitoring & Care: Daily skin checks, moisture management, and application of protective creams.
  • Pressure-Relief Tools: Use of air mattresses, cushions, heel protectors, and specialized bedding.
  • Nutrition & Hydration: Focused diet plans rich in protein, vitamins (especially C & zinc), and hydration to support skin healing.
  • Wound Management: If sores exist, trained caregivers provide wound cleaning, dressing changes, and infection prevention.
  • Education & Support: Family guidance, caregiver training, and medical support for long-term care planning.

Elderly or immobile patients at risk of or currently experiencing pressure sores at home, in nursing facilities, or during post-hospital recovery.
